Description

Composition: 100% Chardonnay, 65% 2018 harvest - 5% 2012 harvest - 5% 2011 harvest - 25% Soléra (eternal reserve since 1982 and renewed annually by 40% with only vintages). Malolactic fermentation carried out. Dosage: 2.5 g/l

Aromas: Lemon-gold in color, animated with green reflections and small, persistent foam. A very seductive and ripe nose of toast, preserved lemon, notes of acacia blossom, almonds, hazelnuts and a refreshing hint of uplifting mint. Fresh and refined taste of grapefruit and citrus fruits, surrounded by a mineral frame of chalk and a salty hint of iodine.

Occasion: Perfect as an aperitif (with Parmesan, for example) and as an accompaniment to iodine-rich dishes such as oysters, sushi or fish tartare!

Award: Rated and commented by Jancis Robinson in Oct. 19 as follows: 17 points

"Bright lemony straw colour. Attractive hint of putty on well-integrated palate. Really creamy and beautifully balanced. None of the extremism that is sometimes to be found in Extra Brut wines. Rather difficult to spit. Really very appealing."

Frequently Asked Questions

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
