Champagne Brigitte Beaufort

Champagne Brigitte BEAUFORT is a family business founded in 2008 in Bouzy by Brigitte Beaufort with the help of her two children, Anne-Louise and Pierre-Herbert; they are still by her side today.
Why was the business founded so late? Because Brigitte is not from the world of Champagne, she became part of it thanks to her enthusiasm and persistence! In 2003, after 25 years as an IT project manager and especially after the death of her husband, she decided to take over the 4 hectares of vineyards, which are classified as Grand Cru. She obtained her diploma as a certified winemaker and took over the vineyards to cultivate them.

Her only wish is to refine the terroir of Bouzy year after year by bringing the wine into the cellar with the characteristics of the vintage and all the associated risks. She and her children select the best grapes from the estate, the heart of the vineyards or the "COEUR DE GALIPPE", as the old villagers say. Production remains confidential accordingly: 6,000 bottles per year. Thus, the Champagnes from Champagne Brigitte BEAUFORT are all unique, vintage, complex, powerful, fresh and with low dosage, to achieve the most beautiful harmony. After blending the Champagnes, Brigitte leaves them in the cellar for at least seven years. The use of sulfites in their Champagne is limited. They contain only the minimum dose so that they can develop over time while remaining protected.
