Collet Champagne Estate
Thomas and Florent Collet embody a new generation of winemakers. Thomas is demanding, meticulous, and rigorous; Florent is sociable, cheerful, and people-oriented. Together, they bring a lively and generous energy to the estate. The first to launch their own champagnes under their name, they are building a common project that combines freedom and loyalty to family history in the heart of La Fontaine-Denis-Nuisy, on the Côte de Sézanne.
Here, the vines find their place in a protected environment where time seems to slow down. This unique location, between heritage and rural idyll, gives the place a strong, deeply rooted, and authentic identity.
The Collet brothers practice attentive and respectful viticulture. As organic winemakers, they protect their soils, promote biodiversity, use herbal teas and decoctions to support the vines, and regulate yields to capture the essence. Every action is aimed at genuinely expressing the personality of each plot.
The estate's 17 plots form a living mosaic of textures and colors. In the north, the white chalk soils radiate light and freshness; in the south, the brown soils interspersed with flint lend depth and character. This geological diversity forms a true mosaic where each soil contributes its own nuance and vibration. From this richness emerges a balanced palette of expressions, moving between tension, fullness, and complexity.
