Champagne Yann Alexandre

Champagne Yann Alexandre

The Yann Alexandre family owns 6 hectares spread across 9 different viticultural areas. This diversity gives each champagne its own style and personality.
The Montagne de Reims (Reims Mountain) viticultural area, with its clay and limestone soil, produces a fine and fruity champagne.

The Massif de Saint Thierry viticultural area (north-west of Reims), with its sandy and silty soil, gives the champagne its lightness.

And the Vitry-le-François viticultural area (south-east of Châlons-en-Champagne), with its chalky soil, ideal for Chardonnay (white grape variety), lends the champagne its finesse.

Viticulture is sustainable, with separate parcel work, the use of Cuvée (highest quality must) for wine production, and extended aging on the lees.

"Yann Alexandre's Champagnes show a clear signature; they are distinctive and full of character. Each Champagne is clearly defined and "conceptually" different from the other Champagnes in the range. Due to their long aging on the lees and rather low dosage, they are excellent food companions, pairing wonderfully not only with seafood and fish but also with meat dishes and strongly seasoned foods." Excerpt from the book "Champagne," G. Eichelmann.

"The balance between the soil and the plant, the soil work, the selection of grape varieties based on the terroir. Human intervention, precision at every stage. The importance of following the daily development of the plant, like a garden. The ripening and condition of the fruit before pressing, to be as close as possible to the vines and the terroir. Winemaking by plot, to distinguish the full potential of each wine. A sum of details that makes sense when put together: the meaning of my balance..." Yann Alexandre, winemaker

How to Find Your Perfect Champagne

Four simple steps to the ideal champagne for every occasion
1

Determine occasion

Consider the occasion for which the champagne will be served. Celebrations, an aperitif, or with a meal?
2

Choose flavor profile

Do you prefer fruity-fresh, elegant, or full-bodied aromas? The dosage determines the sweetness of the Champagne.
3

Recognizing Quality

Pay attention to origin, vintage, and maturation period. Prestige cuvées offer exceptional quality for special moments.
4

Perfect Serving Temperature

Serve champagne at 8-10°C. The correct temperature optimally unfolds the full range of aromas.
