Champagne Delaunois-Chanez

Champagne Delaunois-Chanez

Elodie Chanez took over the 3.80-hectare vineyard from her father Eric in 2017, who still regularly helps her.

She cultivates the three Champagne grape varieties Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay in the village of Rilly-la-Montagne, a 1er Cru classified village on the northern flank of the Montagne de Reims, not far from Reims.

The cultivation methods respect the earth and the plants growing on it, by avoiding insecticides and thanks to the greening of the vineyards and soil cultivation. She makes every effort to maintain healthy soil, which allows the vines to develop and the grapes to grow and ripen under the best conditions, in order to achieve balance and optimal maturity.

Every good bottle of Champagne begins with a beautiful harvest, which in Champagne is entirely done by hand. Elodie vinifies each grape variety and each parcel separately.

How to Find Your Perfect Champagne

Four simple steps to the ideal champagne for every occasion
1

Determine occasion

Consider the occasion for which the champagne will be served. Celebrations, an aperitif, or with a meal?
2

Choose flavor profile

Do you prefer fruity-fresh, elegant, or full-bodied aromas? The dosage determines the sweetness of the Champagne.
3

Recognizing Quality

Pay attention to origin, vintage, and maturation period. Prestige cuvées offer exceptional quality for special moments.
4

Perfect Serving Temperature

Serve champagne at 8-10°C. The correct temperature optimally unfolds the full range of aromas.
