Champagne Gosset
The origins of the house date back to 1584, when Pierre Gosset, lord and alderman of Aÿ, decided to open a wine trading house. Sixteen generations in direct lineage would follow him in Aÿ-Champagne, distinguishing themselves and continuing the house's savoir-faire, respecting a family craft rich in tradition. At the end of 1993, the house joined the Renaud-Cointreau family group, which has continued the Gosset style ever since.
The house currently produces around one million bottles of champagne annually. Gosset has remained true to the human ecosystem and sources its grapes from 160 wine-growing families, some of whom have been working with the company for several generations. The house also promotes an environmentally friendly approach to vineyard cultivation and winemaking.
A unique bottle.
In 1760, Jean Gosset first used what would later become the emblem of the Gosset house: the antique bottle. It is adorned with a label called "necklace with medallion", which is unique and exclusive in Champagne.
