Champagne Le Gallais
The small team at Champagne Le Gallais, led by Charlotte Morgain Le Gallais, cultivates 4 hectares in a unique place that encompasses not only vineyards but also historic buildings, a forest and a park, as well as water features, all enclosed by a wall. It is the family estate of Château de Boursault (built by Veuve Cliquot for her children in the 19th century and purchased by Charlotte's great-great-grandfather in 1927). It is located near Epernay with vineyards overlooking the Marne Valley!
This place is magical for everyone; more than just a workplace, it is inspiring for the family and employees. It offers a great richness of plants and animals; the vineyards are a part of this whole and coexist with the rest.
The richness of the estate lies in both its structural elements and its soil: the filtering properties of the limestone, mixed with the freshness of the clay, contribute to the balance of the terroir and represent an indispensable element in the quest for finesse and elegance for Le Gallais Champagnes.
