Domaine Morel Champagne
Champagne Morel is a family business located in the heart of the unique terroir of Les Riceys in the south of Champagne, in the Côte des Bar. In 18th-century cellars, a wine library tells the story of the Morel house, dating back to 1947. Pinot Noir lovers for over 5 generations, the champagnes are crafted to guarantee originality, elegance , and refinement . Their DNA is Rosé! The Morel family has always produced Rosé Champagne through maceration.
The business is now run by a family trio: Simon is responsible for the vineyard and the quality of the grapes, Emilie handles the creation of the champagnes, sales, and export. Pascal, the father, who continues to be responsible for winemaking, gradually passes on his knowledge.
Champagne Morel places the highest value on every stage of the production process to ensure champagne of the highest quality . The vineyards are managed in harmony with the environment: no insecticides or herbicides are used, the entire vineyard is greened, the biological life in the soil is respected, and emphasis is placed on natural and mechanical working methods .
