Champagne Vazart-Coquart
Since 1954, Domaine Vazart-Coquart has been producing elegant and full-bodied Champagnes from the vineyards of Chouilly, a Grand Cru of the Côte des Blancs. Chardonnay accounts for the majority of the 11 hectares of vineyards, supplemented by a few ares of Pinot Noir.
Since its founding, three generations have taken turns. Louis, Jacques and today Jean-Pierre Vazart have contributed to the development of the Domaine.
Jean-Pierre is committed to biodiversity in the vineyard – through hedges, tree protection, soil care, and reduced use of operating resources. After HVE certification in 2012, he wanted to go even further and switched to organic farming in 2017. The first organically certified harvest followed in 2020.
Being a winemaker also means creating Champagne. The range is broad, as the terroir allows for it. Aperitif, food pairing, celebrations, discoveries, conviviality – there are numerous occasions for lovers of fine wines and gastronomy. The new label designs are in harmony with the predominant grape variety, Chardonnay. A Chardonnay leaf can be seen in the background of the labels.
