Champagne Liebart-Regnier
The Liébart and Régnier families are farmers through and through, cultivating their land for more than seven generations. In 1960, the Liébart-Régnier house was founded on the initiative of Lucien Liébart and Georgette Régnier. From the beginning, they were independent winegrowers, and today's generations Laurent, Valérie, and their daughters Alexandra and Marion proudly produce the champagnes of the family estate.
The 11-hectare vineyard is located in the heart of the Marne Valley and is entirely family-owned. It extends over both banks of the Marne in the communes of Vauciennes (Left Bank, home of the Liébart family) and Baslieux sous Châtillon (Right Bank, home of the Régnier family).
The 35 plots that make up the vineyard thrive on calcareous clay soils. All seven grape varieties of Champagne are cultivated: Meunier, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and to a lesser extent the rare old grape varieties: Arbane, Petit Meslier, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Gris. To protect the terroir for future generations, the family has initiated environmental measures several years ago, showing the greatest respect for the land and the consumer. HVE certification since 2015 and Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne since 2018.
