Description

Composition: 100% Chardonnay – Grand Cru from Oger. 7g/l. 6 years old.

Aromas: The champagne presents itself in a golden-green color. Floral notes dominate the nose. On the palate, it reveals aromas of white and citrus fruits, along with almond and biscuit notes. It is a particularly full-bodied and expressive champagne with an extremely fine perlage. The special vinification gives this cuvée its unique character.

A grand champagne that remains true to the house style every year!

Occasion: Ideal as an aperitif and for special moments thanks to the beautiful vine leaf ornaments on the bottle

And this is what Natalie Lumpp, TOP sommelier, writes about "Fleuron - Grand Cru" from Champagne de la Renaissance:

"Again and again the question arises – does champagne taste different from Sekt, Cava, Spumante or Cava? Of course – exceptions prove the rule – but normally: yes! A typical champagne shows less fruitiness, but more minerality and brioche. The best example of this is the Fleuron Grand Cru - Champagne de la Renaissance. It shines in golden yellow and impresses with its fine, refined character. Initially, its aroma reminds of apple blossoms and some mirabelles, then its salty minerality and almond-nut aroma increasingly emerge. On the palate it presents itself super lean – it drinks so well, although it is completely dry. With its fine maturity, brioche aromas, it is so balanced that it literally makes you want more!!!
How can you top that? With the beautiful bottle – an enamelled ornament with light green (again stimulating) adorns the bottle.
So it's no wonder that the famous champagne houses, like Perrier-Jouet, Bollinger, Veuve Clicquot or Laurent-Perrier, regularly source their base wine from Nelly Dhondt – owner of the great champagne house."

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
