And this is what Natalie LumppTOP Sommelier, writes about the Brut Sélection - La Chanose:

"Who hasn't been looking for an exceptionally good champagne from a lovely family winery? You absolutely must try: Champagne Brut Sélection - La Chanose by Didier Doué!

It sparkles in a strong light gold with fine perlage. This very characterful champagne has aromas reminiscent of roasted hazelnuts, almonds, and essential oils, like when you "crinkle orange peels". On the palate, you also notice its delicate play between a spicy character and, above all, radiant fruit – reminiscent of mirabelle plums and oranges. It impresses with its very clear, brilliant, yet also very intertwined character. With every sip, it truly makes you crave more!

You can wonderfully enjoy it before or after a meal, but it also pairs perfectly with small dishes, such as quail drumsticks on lentil salad or a fruity shrimp cocktail!"

 Yours, Natalie Lumpp, Top Sommelier

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to the most important questions about our Champagne products and services

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
