Description

Composition: This beautiful, older Champagne is a blend of reserve wines from 2007, 2008, and 2009. The 40% Pinot Noir provides the Chardonnay, which makes up 60%, with a balance typical of a developed Champagne. 5 g/L added sugar.

Aromas: It has a lot of character with floral notes and aromas of brioche. Typical citrus notes, with cooked fruits and almonds dominating on the palate, along with fine honey. It is a vinous, rich, and complex Champagne.

Occasion: Aperitif, ideal food accompaniment, e.g., with turbot à la normande.

Award: 92/100 G&M

"Cette cuvée provient d’un assemblage de chardonnay et de pinot noir issus de la même parcelle. Le nez associe les arômes d’agrumes, de fruits blancs juteux et des notes de craie finement perceptibles. En bouche l’équilibre se montre parfait entre vinosité, développement aromatique et fine acidité de citron de Sicile très mûr. Finale à l’avenant, fine, aromatique, sapide et saline. Bel exemple des vins du secteur de Montgeux à la fois riches et fins."

Translation: "This cuvée is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the same parcel. The nose combines aromas of citrus, juicy white fruits, and finely perceptible chalk notes. On the palate, the balance between vinosity, aromatic development, and the fine acidity of very ripe Sicilian lemon is perfect. The finish is equally fine, aromatic, savory, and saline. A beautiful example of the wines from the Montgeux area, both rich and fine."

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to the most important questions about our Champagne products and services

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
