Description

Composition: 70% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir (from the terroirs of Ambonnay, Avenay, Avize, Bouzy, Cramant, Cuis, Grauves, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Louvois, Trépail, Villers-Marmery...). Sugar content: 5.5 g/L.

Aromas: Bright, light golden robe with a fine, crystalline effervescence. On the nose, this vintage champagne is fresh with notes of pear and citrus fruits, including sweet oranges and grapefruits. After the champagne has warmed slightly, delicious aromas of marzipan-pear tart develop. The palate opens with citrus fruits and vanilla blossoms, followed by notes of gooseberries, raspberries, and red cherries with yellow flesh.

This flagship milestone from Maison Gosset is presented in a completely new, environmentally friendly box that can be reused or recycled. It is handcrafted in Epernay in the Champagne region, made from solid ash wood from sustainably managed, FSC-certified French forests, lined with black paper inside, and features cardboard hinges.

Recommendation: The ideal aperitif for discerning gourmets! And also with exotic cuisine, plantains, veal with pineapple, pork with plums, and lemongrass chicken skewers. It is also the perfect accompaniment to monkfish, salt-crusted sea bass, and steamed fish.

The story: This vintage wine is only the 9th edition of Gosset Celebris in 35 years. The exceptional Cuvée Gosset Celebris, the quintessence of the house's style, requires a particular typicity of fresh fruit among the high-quality harvests. The 2012 harvest fully expresses this potential.

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
