Description

Composition: 100% Chardonnay from the 2018 harvest with 10% reserve wines. It has a golden color with a pale golden shimmer and beautiful fine bubbles of great intensity. Sugar content 6 g.

Aromas: Partially barrel-aged wines give this elegant Chardonnay champagne its unique character, as well as delicacy, length, and finesse. A Blanc de Blancs with a blend of structure and finesse, very lively, with aromas of lemon and fresh walnut, with an elegant foam that combines taste and distinction.

Recommendation: Perfect as an aperitif and an ideal accompaniment to oysters and seafood.

Award: 90/100 Gault&Millau

'Encore une réussite pour cette maison qui excelle dans l’équilibre de ses jus. Le dosage millimétré met en lumière un chardonnay d’amande, de brioche, mais aussi d’agrumes et de fleurs blanches. C’est long, savoureux, avec du charme et de la fraîcheur."

Eng: "Another success for this house, which excels in the balance of its juices. The precisely measured dosage highlights a Chardonnay with notes of almond, brioche, but also citrus fruits and white flowers. It is long, flavorful, with charm and freshness."

Natalie Lumpp, TOP sommelier recommends the Chardonnay Extra Brut from Champagne Thévenet-Delouvin:

"It shines in strong gold and already smells so seductive – with its creamy nature and finest toast aromas. On the palate, it presents itself as spicy – think of cardamom – and it appears very full-bodied. It is also wonderfully suited as an accompaniment to a chickpea stew or to pasta with fried herb king oyster mushrooms…

Frequently Asked Questions

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
