Description

Composition: 70% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay. 4 years old. 7.2 g added sugar/L.

Aromas: This champagne has a brilliant, golden-yellow color. Fine and delicate aromas of fruits (peach and apricot), hazelnut, and almond. On the palate, it is harmonious, creamy, and fresh, with a beautiful balance and a pleasant finish.

Recommendation: This is the champagne for any moment, perfect as an aperitif.

And this is what Natalie Lumpp, TOP Sommelier, writes about the "Brut Grand Cru" from Champagne Jean Plener&Fils:

The aroma is still somewhat influenced by yeast, reminiscent of marzipan and quince, appearing very floral and feminine. On the palate, it is also very lean and has a peppery note. The bottle is adorned with a playful, artistically designed label – and you can almost feel the charming winemaker Maud, who now runs the family estate in its 7th generation.

Frequently Asked Questions

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
