Description

Composition: 70% Chardonnay Grand Cru from Chouilly and 30% Pinot Noir from Ay, of which 30% are reserve wines. 5 g sugar content.

Aromas: The nose is discreet with beautiful notes of citrus fruits, hazelnut, and white flowers, developing aromas of biscuit, blueberries, marzipan, red apple, and strawberry. The effervescence is creamy; the beautiful fruity aromas of white and red fruits are found on the palate, with citrus fruits and mineral notes in the background. The finish is long and chalky with a silky structure.

Occasion: Perfect as an aperitif (with Parmesan, for example) and as an accompaniment to iodine-rich dishes such as oysters, salmon rillettes, cod fillet, brick pastry with goat cheese filling,...

And this is what Natalie Lumpp, TOP Sommelier, writes about the Cuvée Camille - Grand Cru - Champagne Vazart-Coquart:

Delicate as a Feather

"The incredible diversity of Champagnes never ceases to fascinate me. From sparkling to powerful – opulent to sweet Champagnes, you can enjoy the entire spectrum. If you are looking for a truly fine, slender, almost delicately structured Champagne, you must try the "Cuvée Camille" from Champagne Vazart-Coquart! In luminous gold, it diffuses a fine, fresh aroma, entirely reminiscent of orange peel, kumquats, and mandarins. Aromas of honey and the very typical Champagne "Gourmand" aromas also join in. With its lively acidity, it remains very slender on the palate, retaining the citrus fruits and appearing very well balanced.

I would most love to usher in the weekend or Sunday morning with this Champagne. Such a glass truly radiates sunshine! You can drink the rest in the evening..."

Frequently Asked Questions

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
