Description

Composition: 25% Pinot Noir, 65% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot Meunier from the 2012 to 2017 harvest. All vinified in oak barrels. No filtration. Dosage: 8 g sugar content. Disgorgement: Nov. 2021.

Aromas: Bright and clear color with golden reflections. Long-lasting perlage. The nose reveals aromas of dried fruits such as almonds and hazelnuts. On the palate, the Cuvée Prestige is harmoniously fresh, full-bodied, long-lasting and very round.

Recommendation: a rich yet refined champagne. Robust as an aperitif and as a food companion.

Award: Hachette **

"Le chardonnay, pour les 2/3, et les deux pinots s'allient dans ce brut qui brille au nez par sa large gamme d'arômes : du beurre frais, des fleurs blanches, des fruits jaunes ou exotiques. Ananas, mangue, orange, on retrouve ce fruité gourmand dans un palais onctueux, tonifié par une finale fraîche et saline."

In Eng: "Chardonnay, making up two-thirds, and the two Pinots combine in this brut, which shines on the nose with a wide range of aromas: fresh butter, white flowers, yellow or exotic fruits. Pineapple, mango, orange - this delicious fruitiness is found in a creamy palate, invigorated by a fresh and saline finish."

Recommended by Natalie Lumpp, TOP sommelier in April 2020:

The Brut Prestige from Champagne David Coutelas looks very elegant. The champagne has a strong gold color and a very unusual aroma. Think of roasted sesame, toasted bread with butter. Overall, it has a very spicy impression. On the palate, it is distinctive, the roasted sesame remains, and its fine mature aromas make it multi-layered. This champagne becomes an unforgettable experience with satay skewers. In any case, this champagne is a great food companion!"

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
