And this is what Natalie Lumpp, TOP Sommelier, writes about the Cuvée Signature -1er Cru:

"The Cuvée Signature -1er Cru from Champagne Joseph Desruets shimmers in powerful gold and shows a very fine perlage. The aroma is spicy – reminiscent of baked apples with cinnamon – it conveys a sense of homeliness. The longer the champagne develops in the glass, the more its fresh aromas unfold. In the mouth, it presents itself as lively – fresh – and it possesses incredible depth – meaning, it doesn't just disappear when you drink it – you feel it for a long time.

It's also great fun with lamb's lettuce with croutons and bacon or with freshly smoked trout or char…"

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
