Description

Composition: 100% Pinot noir. 3g sugar content.

Aromas: A champagne with a pale gold color. The nose is characterized by aromas of white fruits, lime blossom, citrus fruits and toasted bread. The palate is open and the long aging in the cellar gives it a beautiful, enveloping fruitiness. The finish is marked by a mineral note, an expression of the terroir of Les Riceys.

Recommendation: It is ideal as an aperitif, but also goes perfectly with seafood, fish or fresh goat cheese.

Award: Guide Hachette*

"The Extra-Brut Dosage contributes to the pleasant liveliness of this Blanc de Noirs (100% Pinot Noir) with its interesting aromatic expression, which is both fresh and developed (yuzu, lime, orange peel, peach, mirabelle plum, marzipan, toasted dried fruits,...)."

Natalie Lumpp, TOP sommelier, writes the following about the Extra, Champagne Domaine Morel:

"A pure Pinot Noir champagne that seduces with its slightly orange color with bronze reflections. Its scent is reminiscent of ripe honeydew melon, dried apricots, honey and brittle. When drinking, it shows bite – yet it remains soft and charming. The ripe honeydew melon also remains present in the finish. It even hints slightly at chocolate – simply delicious! Enjoyed neat, it's fun, but it also goes perfectly with melon with Parma ham or veal/beef fillet."

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
