Description

Composition: 40% Pinot Meunier, 60% Chardonnay - Sugar content: 7 g/L. At least 7 years old.

Aromas: The Grande Reserve is the pride of the house. Its outstanding fruity notes, its lightness and its finesse on the palate will not leave the aesthete indifferent. This champagne brings great joy at any moment you feel like enjoying a glass of champagne!

Recommendation: as an aperitif. It can also mature longer in the cellar.

And this is what Natalie Lumpp, TOP Sommelière, writes about the Grande Réserve - Champagne Barthélemy-Pinot:

"The Barthélemy-Pinot family owns only 2.5 hectares of vines in Champagne. Thus, their champagne is truly only available in homeopathic doses. It's a good thing that Alexandra Hepke studied with one of the brothers – Jérôme, so she always gets a small contingent. It's best to quickly secure a few bottles of the Grande Réserve brut! It shines in a strong gold and its scent is truly seductive – think of small white flowers, honey, quince jelly, and orange peel.

On the palate, it lives up to all its promises – it presents itself as incredibly clear, radiant with wonderful fruitiness, and in the finish, it remains spicy – nutty. The champagne has only one drawback: it drinks so finely that the bottle is empty in no time. So, according to Madame Pompadour's motto: "Champagne is the only drink that makes you more beautiful – the more you drink of it!"

Note on possible allergens: contains alcohol, sulfites, and residual sugar

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
