Description

Blend: 1/3 Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Meunier from the Treslon terroir. 5g sugar/L. Disgorgement: Oct 25.

Aromas: Open nose with fresh white fruits and a hint of citrus. Some notes of brioche, tea, and peony. Fresh and energetic attack; the hint of citrus that opens the palate is quickly found, then the fruits are added in large quantities. Digestible and thirst-quenching finish.

Recommendation: Simply as an aperitif with a nice pâté. Also pairs well with sea bream ceviche/citrus, red tuna tataki/toasted sesame.

Natalie Lumpp, TOP Sommelier recommends the Grande Réserve from Champagne Domaine Lagille:

"I confess, the label of the Champagne alone looks very noble and appealing – and on the back label, you'll even find details about bottling, residual sugar, etc. The golden shimmering Champagne shows a very fine perlage (positive) and already smells smooth – somewhat reminiscent of roasted hazelnuts and caramel. On the palate, it retains its fine nutty aroma, but becomes fruitier and truly whets the appetite for more. The only drawback - the bottle is empty in no time... Delicious with a pâté or rillette (preferably from Kunkel butcher in Hösbach) with toasted bread or toast."

Note on possible allergens: contains alcohol, sulfites, and residual sugar

Frequently Asked Questions

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
