Composition: 55% Pinot Noir, 45% Chardonnay. 35% of the wines are vinified in wooden barrels. No filtration. Minimal use of sulfur. 4.5 g added sugar/L.

Aromas: The Pinot Noir is dominant with notes of Napoleon cherries. The Chardonnay contributes its notes of white flowers and vanilla. The palate is still complex, tautened by the low dosage. A beautiful length that ends with the minerality of the Kimmeridgian soil, subtly spicy, the signature of this authentic Champagne!

Recommendation: A vintage that will enhance your aperitifs! Wonderful with a scallop carpaccio or a truffled Brillat Savarin.

The little story: the name "Grande Sendrée" comes from a parcel of land that was covered in ash (French "cendre") during the great fire of Urville in 1836. A typo crept in when the land register was rewritten, so today we write the place and the cuvée with an "s". The bottle was designed based on an 18th-century bottle discovered in the cellars of Urville. This Champagne is entirely hand-riddled.

2012 is one of the finest vintages since the turn of the century. Only available in limited quantities due to the most severe hailstorm that has hit our wine region since the 18th century. Fortunately, the unaffected harvest was outstanding.

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
