Composition: 55% Pinot Noir, 45% Chardonnay. 100% of the wines vinified in oak barrels. No filtration. Minimal use of sulfur. 4.2 g added sugar/L.

Aromas: This champagne reveals a beautiful aromatic complexity, in which woody and toasted notes mingle, subtly highlighted by a hint of vanilla. On the palate, the attack is full-bodied and warm, marked by spicy accents reminiscent of curry, with a buttery texture that provides a delightful sensation. The power of the alcohol is perfectly integrated, offering a beautiful structure without excess. The whole is supported by a balanced freshness that prolongs the pleasure with a harmonious and elegant finish.

Recommendation: A vintage that will enhance your aperitifs! Wonderful with a scallop carpaccio or a truffled Brillat Savarin.

The little story: The name "Grande Sendrée" comes from a parcel that was covered with ash (French "cendre") in 1836 during the great fire of Urville. A clerical error occurred when transcribing the cadastre, so today we spell the place and the cuvée with an "s." The bottle was designed after an 18th-century bottle discovered in the cellars of Urville. This champagne is entirely riddling by hand.

The 2015 vintage is characterized by a warm, sunny and dry year. A sunny year with high aging potential.

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
