Description

Composition: 100% Chardonnay, alcoholic fermentation in oak barrels, malolactic fermentation in fermentation tanks. Numbered bottles, limited edition of 700 bottles. 3 Gr/L added sugar.

Aromas: the nose is lively with notes of ripe, white-fleshed fruits. On the finish, notes of citrus peel take the lead. On the palate, this champagne is incisive, pure, and long at the same time. It surprises with smoky notes that come from the alcoholic fermentation in oak barrels. The tension is very present despite its aging. A champagne of great, long-lasting freshness.

Recommendation: Perfect as an aperitif, also as an accompaniment to oysters and other shellfish, fish or cheese (Comté).

Award: 15.5/20 Gault&Millau

Eng: "The Extra Brut Insolite Chardonnay, 100% Chardonnay, is supple, lightly honeyed, with a powerful bouquet dominated by honeysuckle and apple, of great richness on the palate, with a very balanced structure, full-bodied on the mouth, revealing connotations of pear and toast."

Note on possible allergens: contains alcohol, sulfites, and residual sugar

Frequently Asked Questions

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
