Description

Composition: 1/3 Pinot Noir, 1/3 Chardonnay, 1/3 Pinot Meunier - 20% reserve wines. No malolactic fermentation.
Sugar content: 6.5 g/L

Aromas: Pinot Noir gives the Champagne body and fullness, Chardonnay provides finesse, elegance and liveliness, and Meunier contributes freshness and fruit. The nose is fruity and elegant with aromas of citrus fruits and orange blossoms. On the palate, it is powerful and rich with notes of honey and lemon.

Recommendation: Ideal as an aperitif

Award: Gault&Millau 88/100

"La tendresse des fleurs champêtres et du sureau se mêle à la rondeur de la pêche blanche, l'onctuosité de la prune mûre. La bouche est plus tonique avec une trame acidulée qui s'équilibre avec de petits amers dans une finale salivante, qui laisse un voile salin sur les lèvres."

En: "The tenderness of wildflowers and elderflower blends with the roundness of white peach and the creaminess of ripe plum. The palate is more invigorating with an acidic structure balanced by a slight bitterness, and a mouth-watering finish that leaves a saline veil on the lips."

Top sommelier Natalie Lumpp writes about Champagne Philbert's "Invitation 1er Cru Brut":

"The name – 'Invitation' – could hardly be more fitting for our holiday guests. In the glass, it shines golden with delicate bronze tones. The aroma is full of character: salted almonds, spices like white pepper and caraway, plus fresh herbs – thyme, sage – and a hint of smoke. On the palate, it is fruitier and fills the mouth generously. Sage and white pepper linger in the finish. An aperitif Champagne that also pairs wonderfully with food – for example, with saltimbocca or pasta with hazelnuts and sage."

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
