Description

Composition: 100% Pinot Meunier from the 2013 to 2020 harvest with 50% perpetual reserve, started in 2013. From the "La Croix Joly" plot, located halfway up the hill on the Troissy terroir. Vinification in 200, 300 and 500 liter barrels. Dosage: 1.1 g/L added sugar. Disgorgement: Dec 24.

Limited edition of 1,476 bottles.

Aromas: "The perpetual reserve of Croix Joly pushes the oxidative, almost Andalusian expression of autumnal aromas far forward: Massala, curry, Bourbon whiskey, dried fruits... admirably guided by a silky, rich and mellow taste on the palate. Very beautiful, racy Champagne." Hachette 2022.

Recommendation: Serve at a temperature above 10° and in tall, wide glasses like a white wine glass so that all aromas can unfold.

Award: Gault&Millau 90/100

Eng: "This cuvée, made from a perpetual reserve (between 2013 and 2019) of old Meunier vines, opens with a basket of yellow and white fruits whose ripe and sweet aromas mingle. Lime blossoms scent the air, their fragrance arriving in successive waves. The nose is rounded and aromatically pleasant, with flattering notes of rose, coffee, and tobacco. In a fresh, delicately effervescent wine, there are notes of white fruits and an acidic structure that prevents any heaviness. This accompanies the wine into a savory, slightly tannic and peppery finish."

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
