Natalie Lumpp, TOP Sommelier recommends L'Assemblage 1er Cru from Champagne Guy Méa

"Even the color of the champagne is impressive – with light bronze reflections – this comes from the 70% Pinot Noir content. On the nose, it has so many aromas of spices – think of curry, nutmeg, but also sandalwood, salted almonds and freshly baked bread join in. On the palate, it is full of character, yet underlined with a seductive fruitiness. Perfect to usher in a summer weekend…"

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
