Description

Composition: 60% Meunier, 20% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay from the 2022 harvest with 38% reserve wine (2011-2020). 5 g/L. Added sugar.

Aromas: This champagne has an old gold color. On the nose, notes of citrus fruits (candied lemon) and white fruits (pear, apple) mingle with sweet aromas of vanilla, cinnamon, and pine cones. The champagne's minerality combines perfectly with these aromas. On the palate, the champagne's freshness dominates. The various aromas of candied citrus fruits and spicy notes blend in a perfectly exciting and delicate harmony.

Occasion: Appetizer buffet, pike with white butter and samphire

Award: 87/100 G&M

"De la fraîcheur, des arômes de fruits blancs mûrs frais comme une pluie d’été se dévoilent au nez. Avec une matière qui fait dans la légèreté, les bulles se montrent enrobantes et la pêche au sirop renforce la sensation de gourmandise.."

En: "Freshness, aromas of fresh ripe white fruits like a summer rain unfold on the nose. With a light body, the bubbles are enveloping and the peach in syrup reinforces the gourmet sensation."

Hachette**: "Subtle and frank on the nose, delicately fruity and floral, fresh and persistent, judiciously dosed, it shows character with elegance."

En: "Subtle and honest on the nose, delicately fruity and floral, fresh and persistent, moderately dosed, it shows character with elegance."

And this is what Natalie Lumpp, TOP Sommelier, writes about Les Sols Bruns - Brut by Champagne Liébart-Régnier:

"It shimmers in a light straw color with bronze reflections. It appears fresh and invigorating with its aromas of fresh herbs – think of thyme. A special note is given by the autolysis – the long contact with the champagne yeast – a very typical aroma of good champagne. On the palate, spicy aromas are added, making it very characterful. I prepared a roasted salmon with green asparagus to go with it – it was so good that the bottle was empty in no time!"

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
