Description

Composition: 85% Pinot Noir, 15% Chardonnay from the 2009 harvest. Fine pale yellow color with golden reflections. Sugar content: 0 Gr/L.

Aromas: The winery's first harvest, which began on September 14. The exceptionally mild summer with only one notable period of rain shortly before the harvest allowed the grapes to achieve beautiful ripeness with impeccable sanitary quality. The vintage champagne is characterized by its power and exceptional finesse.

On the nose, powerful, lemony aromas with roasted notes. Open and clear on the attack. On the palate, full-bodied and mineral with a lemony and salty finish. Great length.

Recommendation: Enjoy with shellfish, e.g., oysters.

Award: 17/20 Gault&Millau:

This champagne, disgorged in 2019, develops very fine bubbles. The nose expresses the freshness of white fruits, while on the palate, the maturity typical of older wines is confronted with chalky textures and salty notes brought by the terroir. Excellent with oysters and champagne jelly.

Note on possible allergens: contains alcohol, sulfites, and residual sugar

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
