Description

Blend: 50% Chardonnay vinified in oak barrels, 50% Pinot Noir from 3 harvests. 6g/L added sugar.

Aromas: This Champagne bears the signature of Chardonnay. Its aromas of grapefruit, Montmorency cherry, and white fruits confirm this. The Chardonnay, elegantly aged in wood, brings a refreshing and airy style and citrus aromas, while the Pinot Noir contributes notes of cocoa, toast, and ripe wheat.

Recommendation: The ideal companion for an aperitif and also excellent with seafood, lobster, oysters, scampi, a tagine, but also with a pear and almond tart.

Award: Gault&Millau 92/100 and described as follows: "Une robe translucide, vieil or et rose, ouvre la dégustation. Le nez se fait discret avec des notes de fruits dorés avec beaucoup de fraîcheur. Les bulles sont élégamment délicates et la mousse se montre fouettante. Les arômes sont fins avec un fruité subtil et un cadre minéral bien défini. Avec des parts égales de chardonnay et de pinot noir de 50 ans, les arômes de citron et de fruits jaunes mûrs s'opposent et se réconcilient."

In English: "A translucent, old gold and pink robe opens the tasting. The nose is discreet with notes of golden fruits with much freshness. The bubbles are elegantly delicate, and the mousse is whipped. The aromas are fine with subtle fruitiness and a well-defined mineral framework. With equal parts of 50-year-old Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the aromas of lemon and ripe yellow fruits oppose and reconcile each other."

And this is what Natalie Lumpp, TOP Sommelière, writes about the "Luministe- 1er Cru":

The "Luministe" 1er Cru - Champagne Jacquinet-Dumez, on the other hand, is a completely different caliber with its spicy and characterful nature. When you smell it, think of walnuts, bay leaf, juniper, and sandalwood. When you drink it, it also feels powerful and muscular. Everything it promised in the aroma, it also delivers on the palate. A great accompaniment to French cassoulet or lentil salad with quail or chicken stew.

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
