Description

Blend: 50% Chardonnay, 50% Pinot Noir from 2022 with 50% reserve wines from 2021 and 2020. 30% was vinified in oak barrels. Sugar content: 6 g/L. Disgorgement Oct. 24.

Aromas: Very, very fine bubbles. The nose is intense, gourmet, opening with notes of apple, fresh brioche, and delicate woody hints. On the palate, it is fresh, fruity, and aromatic. A pure and balanced champagne!

Recommendation: Perfect as an aperitif or for a reception! Excellent with pike and vegetable julienne.

This is what Natalie Lumpp, TOP sommelier, writes about the "Nord-Sud":

Domaine Collet Champagne's "Nord-Sud" already catches the eye with its distinctive label, which provides information on terroir, vintage, and disgorgement... It shines in a powerful gold/bronze and presents itself with great complexity. On the one hand, its delicate citrus aroma is absolutely mouth-watering – on the other hand, it also possesses the typical Champagne brioche character. Although it presents itself wonderfully lean on the palate, it has a delicate spice. A superb companion to fish and seafood, but also to pasta with pesto...

Note on potential allergens: contains alcohol, sulfites and residual sugar

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
