Description

Composition: 100% Chardonnay from the "Partelaines" plot from the 2019 harvest. Only 1680 bottles. 10-month vinification in 228-liter barrels, malolactic fermentation completed. 0 g/L added sugar.

The 2019 vintage offers excellent quality. The Chardonnays from Chouilly brought freshness and elegance, creating a vintage of great precision.

Aromas: On the nose, this champagne reveals subtle aromas of white chocolate, tonka bean, and a beautiful minerality. On the palate, it is of great finesse, with a lovely liveliness, citrus notes, and a salty finish. This champagne fully reveals the chalky terroir of Chouilly with a vibrant minerality.

Recommendation: Excellent as an aperitif, but also very good with white fish, seafood, or aged cheese.

The little story: The "Les Partelaines" plot was the first piece of land that Roland and Jacqueline Champion, the grandparents of Clémence and Carole Champion, bought together shortly after their wedding – their first joint property that did not come from their family inheritance!

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
