Description

Composition: 90% Pinot Noir, 10% Chardonnay from the 2019 harvest. The Prestige Rosé gets its color from the maceration of the blue grape and is therefore a Rosé de Saignée. Matured in oak barrels - Dosage: 9g sugar content - Disgorgement: Dec. 23.

Aromas: Beautiful ruby red color with delicate and persistent perlage. The nose reveals notes of stone fruit such as sour cherry. This gourmet champagne is full-bodied, very round and long-lasting on the palate. In the mouth, this champagne develops fruit aromas from pureed raspberry to prunes. A real treat!

Recommendation: As an aperitif and an ideal accompaniment to fruit desserts!

Award: 90/20 Gault&Millau

And this is what Natalie Lumpp, top sommelier, writes about the Rosé Prestige - Coutelas: "Here they come again: the mild summer evenings. Just imagine sitting in the garden - or on the terrace - with a glass of rosé champagne in your hand. Perhaps even an upgrade à la Pretty Woman with a bowl of strawberries...

Drink the Prestige Rosé David Coutelas. It presents itself in a very strong rosé color - almost strawberry red, and it also has a very berry aroma. I love it when champagne presents itself in many layers! The more I engage with the champagne, the more its aroma changes: it takes on a red wine character and is reminiscent of cinnamon and sandalwood. The latter is also partly due to the fact that the base wine was aged in oak barrels. On the palate, the champagne surprises with its lively, fresh and fruity character. It appears slim and wonderfully polished.

While I usually have little interest in the packaging of champagnes, I really have to highlight this bottle. An absolutely elegant, heavy white bottle with a silver label and banderole - it naturally brings the rosé color even more to the forefront. I'll just say it very quietly, but the Prestige Rosé is also a real hit as a gift! "

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
