Description

Composition: Pinot Meunier from Damery, from the 2018 vintage. The wine is aged for 1 year in wooden barrels (300 L oak barrels made in Damery). Produced without malolactic fermentation, filtration, and fining. 0 g/L added sugar. Only 1,200 bottles.

Limited and numbered bottles Beautiful bright light yellow and deep color with fine, regular bubbles.

Aromas: The 2018 vintage offers a rich and balanced taste experience. Aromas of grape must, blue plum, baguette bread, and candied cherries mingle on the nose, while notes of spices, melted butter, pecans, and ratafia are discernible in the background. On the palate, a creamy texture and well-integrated effervescence are accompanied by a structured acidity that gives way to aromas of bitter almond and licorice juice. The slightly tannic and salty finish prolongs this delightful and enchanting sensation.

Recommendation: As an aperitif with finger food such as foie gras canapés, but also seared scallops, poultry liver terrine, Iberico ham, veal fillet with cranberries, or an 18-month-old Comté cheese.

Note on possible allergens: contains alcohol, sulfites and residual sugar

Frequently Asked Questions

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
