Description

Composition: 100% Pinot noir from 15 different vintages. A portion of less than 15% is vinified in wood. 5g sugar/L.

Aromas: This champagne has a pale gold robe. On the nose, aromas of yellow lemon, green apple, and yellow peach. On the palate, creamy, melted effervescence with full-bodied, crisp fruitiness, supported by a fresh, elegant citric acidity, finely woven with a minerality of clay and limestone. Long, fresh, and fruity finish.

Recommendation: an ideal aperitif, e.g. with cheese, delicious with bread and rillettes.

Award: 15.5/20 Gault&Millau. In Essen&Trinken, issue 01/23, described as follows by Benedikt Ernst, E&T editor: "GOLDEN PERLS: Grower champagne at its best: 100% Pinot Noir grapes from 15 vintages give Huguenot-Tassin's "Signature" radiant fruit, toasty mature notes, and pure elegance."

And this is what Natalie Lumpp, TOP Sommelier, writes about the Signature Extra Brut from Champagne Huguenot-Tassin:

"The pure Pinot Noir sparkles in straw colors with slight bronze reflections and shows the wonderfully typical champagne scent reminiscent of almonds and toasted bread. Then more and more freshness and fruitiness emerge – just think of ripe mirabelles, apricots, and lime zest. In the mouth, it is so juicy and fresh; with every sip, one's mouth literally waters. A perfect companion to fish, scallops, carpaccio with olive oil and lime, or sushi."

Frequently Asked Questions

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
