Description

Composition: A 100% Champagne from the Fontaine-Denis Terroir on the Côte de Sézanne. 100% Chardonnay, 70% vinified in oak barrels. 70% from the 2020 harvest, 30% from 2019. Sugar content: 1 Gr/L.

Aromas: The nose is delicate with aromas of white flowers as well as mineral and citrus notes. On the palate, it is lively, with a fine texture and beautiful freshness. The whole is clear and fresh with a noble finish of pink pomelo. A generous Blanc de Blancs, typical of the Côte de Sézanne.

Both flint and chalk are essential components of the soils of Fontaine Denis. There is nothing better than Chardonnay to express the nuances of this unique substrate. This Champagne is a true marvel of composition, immersing you in a chalky and creamy minerality.

Recommendation: Perfect as an aperitif!

Award: 92/100 Gault&Millau:

"Il a tout pour lui : séduction, finesse, subtilité, naviguant entre un fruité subtil et des fleurs délicates. La bulle est discrète, ténue. On aime la remarquable fraîcheur salivante et la touche séveuse. Un vin intrigant et remarquable que l’on peut boire pour faire la fête ou pour méditer. Un vrai coup de cœur."

Eng: "It has it all: seduction, finesse, subtlety, navigating between subtle fruitiness and delicate flowers. The bubbles are discreet and fine. We love the remarkable mouth-watering freshness and the alluring touch. An intriguing and remarkable champagne that can be drunk for celebrations or for contemplation. A real insider tip."

**Guide Hachette 2021 and described as follows: "a smooth and elegant white Champagne. Lemon and candied orange on the nose, more citrus on the palate, with a buttery and woody note."

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
