Description

Blend: 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay, 15% Meunier. More than 85% of the grapes come from Premier and Grand Cru vineyards. Sugar content: 8-9 g/L.

Aromas: Golden color, a clear sign of red grape varieties, fine perlage. On the nose: Complex aromas of ripe fruits and spices with nuances of baked apples, apple compote and peaches. On the palate: A harmonious combination of structure, finish and intensity with a fine, velvety perlage. The aromas are reminiscent of pears, brioche and spices with nuances of fresh nuts.

Recommendation: As an aperitif and a good companion to fish, especially sushi and sashimi, crustaceans and shellfish, poultry and white meat, Parmesan cheese and ham.

The little story: In 1911, George Bollinger, a British representative of the house, gave it the name "Special Cuvée" – English spelling, without an accent. He felt that the expression "Brut sans année" was not fitting for such an exquisite champagne. More than a hundred years later, the name of this iconic champagne still stands for tradition and joie de vivre.

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
