Composition: 54% Chardonnay, 28% Pinot noir, 18% Pinot meunier - 34% wines from the 2020 harvest, 26% 2019, 40% 2014-18. 6% vinified in wood. Sugar content: 6.6 g/L. Disgorgement: January 2024.

Aromas: The champagne shows a brilliant golden color, fleeting foam, and fine bubbles. On the nose, it is rich and fruity with buttery notes. On the palate, it is fresh, full-bodied, slightly acidic with aromas of ripe pears and candied quince. It has a well-structured body with a velvety texture, beautiful length, and great balance.

Recommendation: A must for an aperitif with friends, perfect with scallop carpaccio.

The story: 3 villages, 3 grape varieties, 3 years, always our "TER roir". Côte de Sézanne: Allemant, Broyes and Sézanne. Clay-limestone soil.

Natalie Lumpp, TOP sommelier, writes the following about Champagne Delong Marlène's Ter Originel:
"This champagne already appeals with the pretty butterfly on the label. The color shimmers in rich gold, and the scent is as delicate as a perfume! Imagine grapefruit and quince – underscored with a subtle sweetness. On the palate, it is not too dry, but playful, with delicate honey notes. Delicious with gratinated goat cheese with honey or with Greek yogurt with honey and nuts..."

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to the most important questions about our Champagne products and services

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
