Description

Composition: 80% Pinot Meunier, 20% Chardonnay - Sugar content: 8 g/L

Aromas: It has a beautiful golden yellow and shiny color with fine and discreet bubbles. On the nose, it first reveals aromas of pastry (shortcrust, brittle), then aromas of dried hay, tobacco, grilled almonds, and dried apricots. The palate is fresh and develops aromas of ripe and savory fruits.

Recommendation: Very good as an aperitif but also as a food companion

Natalie Lumpp, TOP Sommelier recommends Tradition Brut from Champagne Barthélemy-Pinot:

The champagne – truly mega delicious! a cuvée of 80% Meunier and 20% Chardonnay – shows a very fine perlage and an invigorating scent – initially reminiscent of sandalwood, then its fruitiness comes through more and more – just think of ripe mirabelles, cherries, dried apricots, and almonds. On the palate, it feels delicate – with hints of vanilla, cloves, and oranges. Heavenly with a soft creamy cheese with orange confiture or thinly sliced duck breast with orange zest…

Note on potential allergens: contains alcohol, sulfites, and residual sugar

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
