Aromas: Selection of very old Chardonnay vines in Trépail, over 70 years old, with a pale yellow robe. Delicate on the nose. Fresh, floral palate with fine and elegant discreet aromas of lime blossom, pear, and minerality.

Recommendation: It accompanies an aperitif or a meal.

And this is what Natalie Lumpp, TOP Sommelier, writes about the "Vieilles Vignes - 1er Cru":

The noble, cut champagne bottle "Vielles Vignes" 1er Cru from Champagne Boulard-Bauquaire is already an eye-catcher. The single-varietal Chardonnay shimmers in bright gold and has an extremely radiant aroma – think of apricots, mirabelle plums, and orange blossoms. On the palate, it is lively – fresh – delicately fruity and retains the aroma of apricots and mirabelle plums. All in all, a very fine, very elegant champagne – ideal with appetizers, such as shrimp cocktail with grapefruit segments and celery stalks, or with Chaource cheese and dried apricots.

Note on possible allergens: contains alcohol, sulfites and residual sugar

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
