Description

Due to unfortunate past experiences, Jeroboam bottles can ONLY be ordered with advance payment!

Composition: The Grande Réserve Brut is made from reserve wines, consisting of 33% Chardonnay, 42% Pinot Noir, and 25% Pinot Meunier, which give it its old gold color. 10 to 15% of the wine is aged in wooden barrels. It is a complex and stronger champagne, as the grape varieties used have matured over seven years of aging. This also affects the effervescence: the bubbles are finer and the foam is less. 7g/l added sugar.

Recommendation: It is a perfect champagne for your aperitif and is the ideal companion for poultry and red meat dishes.

Award: This champagne was awarded one star in the French standard wine guide "Guide Hachette 2009". It was described with a very good rating in the "Weinwirtschaft" magazine as follows: "finely matured, quince jelly with apple, very toasty and yeasty, spicy; ripe acidity, self-contained, open character."

The bottle is packaged in a beautiful wooden box. The Jeroboam will impress your guests. The bottle is enough for one glass/person for approx. 20 people.

Note on possible allergens: contains alcohol, sulfites and residual sugar

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
