Description

Composition: The "Roche Mère" is the mother rock and the origin of the "Terroir." 45% Pinot Meunier, 40% Chardonnay, 15% Pinot Noir from the 2018 vintage with 40% reserve wines. 0 g/L sugar added. Disgorged July 2023.

Aromas: Its white-gold color foreshadows this authentic champagne and its sincere expression of the terroir and the 3 grape varieties of the Champagne region. Floral and mineral notes come through on the nose and palate. It is a fine and fresh champagne.

Recommendation: Ideal as an aperitif with fine appetizers, e.g., Pata Negra tapas.

Award:  96/100 Gault&Millau

Eng: "The scent of ripe yellow fruits (apricot, mirabelle plum) is balanced with notes of pink citrus (pomelo, blood orange) and a very delicate floral touch. The palate is very straightforward, intense but not aggressive. Freshness asserts itself in a taut, crystalline texture, with pleasant lemon notes that tantalize the taste buds, while notes of thyme underline them. Finish on minerality and tension. The promise is kept between the gourmandise of the nose and the energetic side of the palate."

Frequently Asked Questions

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
