Description

Discover the three most important grape varieties of the region with these delicious single-varietal grower champagnes:

100% Pinot noir

Pinot Noir accounts for 38% of the Champagne vineyards. It is the dominant grape variety in the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Bar and ripens quickly. It prefers calcareous and cool soils. Pinot Noir gives Champagne wines body, strength, and structure. Champagnes made from it are characterized by aromas of red fruits and flowers (rose, violet).

100% Meunier

Meunier accounts for 31% of the grapes grown in Champagne. This vigorous grape variety is less susceptible to frost than the other two due to the later opening of its buds. Therefore, it is suitable for heavier soils like those in the Vallée de la Marne and for harsher climatic conditions. Its name comes from the whitish color of the underside of its young leaves and buds, which resembles the white color of flour. Meunier gives Champagne wines a round structure. It produces supple, fruity champagnes that develop a little faster over time and are characterized by aromas of yellow fruits.

100% Chardonnay

Chardonnay accounts for 31% of the wine-growing area. It is a vigorous and early-ripening grape variety that is particularly suitable for terroirs based on chalk close to the surface, such as those of the Côte des Blancs. It lends great freshness to Champagne. Champagnes made from Chardonnay are characterized by delicate aromas, floral, citrus, and sometimes mineral notes. It is an ideal grape variety for aging Champagne.

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
