Description

Composition: 92% Meunier, 8% Pinot Noir. 6 years old. 2021 harvest, 40-50% 2020 reserve wines. 7 Gr/L sugar dosage.

Aromas: "Ôde à la vie" means "Ode to Life." An intense golden color with discrete coppery reflections. Very fine and invigorating bubbles forming a delicate cordon. The nose is fine and elegant with notes of white fruits (poached pear, white nectarine). The attack is supple, then energetic in the mid-palate, giving the whole a structured and delicious profile. The aromas in the mouth harmonize with the olfactory sensations (poached pear). Beautiful balance, savory and saline with a gentle finish.

Recommendation: A lovely aperitif. Can also be served with a traditional veal blanquette or a lamb navarin with spring vegetables.

Note on possible allergens: contains alcohol, sulfites, and residual sugar

Frequently Asked Questions

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
