Description

Blend: 48% Pinot Meunier, 20% Pinot Noir and 32% Chardonnay. 2015 harvest. 4g sugar content. Disgorged summer 2023.

Aromas: the champagne has a beautiful golden-yellow color and fine, abundant effervescence. The nose reveals fresh and pleasant aromas of fruits such as pear and warm apple tart, as well as mineral notes. The aromas are re-discovered on the palate, mingling with light and beautiful floral notes, gradually reminiscent of toasted brioche.

A wine with a beautiful structure and appealing vivacity. A vintage produced only in the best years. It reveals the character and uniqueness of a single harvest!

Recommendation: Ideal as an aperitif and as an accompaniment to your meals.

In German: "Delicate and fresh nose for this vintage wine with a taut and mineral palate, with notes of yellow fruits and citrus. The 2012 harvest brings richness and gourmandise. With a beautiful full and long finish, this champagne can be served with chicken with crayfish."

Natalie Lumpp, TOP sommelier, writes the following about the "Millesime 2015" from Champagne Olivier Marteaux:

Champagne Olivier Marteaux Millesime 2015 presents itself as very powerful and spicy. Its fragrance, reminiscent of sandalwood, fresh walnuts, honey and dried apricots, acts like a perfume! Divine! When drinking, you feel its intense character – fine maturity – minerality – and it really lingers forever! A great champagne – which also holds up well with food. Whether with Pata Negra ham with almonds, olives and pimientos or with morel risotto – the bottle is almost empty in no time!

We offer a carefully curated selection of champagnes from the most renowned houses in the Champagne region. Our portfolio includes classic Brut champagnes, rosé varieties, and special vintages. Each bottle is selected according to strict quality criteria to guarantee you the best taste experience.

Champagne should be stored in a cool, dark place, ideally at a constant temperature between 7-10°C. The bottles should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations. Well-stored champagnes can age and gain complexity over many years.

Champagne should be served in flutes or tulip glasses to best preserve its aroma. Chill the bottle for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in an ice bucket to 6-8°C. Open the bottle carefully by removing the wire and slowly twisting out the cork. Serve immediately to enjoy its freshness and effervescence.
